Kenya once considered to be the stable country in Africa, now 200,000 refugees and over 1000 dead people because of corruption, allegations hardly.

Kenya often described as the cradle of humanity has seen a true outbreak of human nature with the release of the latest election results. Only the Ugandan president has offered any form of congratulations on the election result and it would have to be said that this was more than likely to avoid what is happening now, as the last thing he needs is a couple of 100,000 refugees calling for entry to Uganda. The Red Cross has called for international aid in this time of need to prevent another humanitarian crisis from occurring.

(OPINION) The violence that has been reported on the streets both by camera and eye witness reports has been harrowing. It felt like a throwback to the days of old where the tribes of old were attacking each other for honour, it was pure and complete mob mentality. Like the suicide bombers in other parts of the world. These people have had someone enraging them in the background that we cannot see. This type of violence is easily forced to happen in places where economice resources are not equally distributed or available. It is very easy to see local ODP and PNU officials shouting slogans and giving people a cause to take to the streets for. Instead of trying to progress the country as a whole. This as per usual is the general way of things.
