However, I disagree aobut the midway. I read many books on it and it was said that the Americans had more planes, battleship and cruiser. The reason for the Japnaese lose was because of poor tactics and not realizing that Planes and aircraft carriers are becoming the new "flagship" during the new age of war. This war wasn`t fair and quite predictable that the America would win the war. Jpanese soldiors used bolt action rifle and katana while Americans used much more efficientand faster reloading rifle such as a thomson sub machine gun or M1 grand(also carbine). Jpanes soldiors were slaughtered during the battle of both Okinawa and Iwo jima becuase of the poor equipment they had.Both American and Jpanese had very brave men. Most of the japanese soldiers who faught in saipan, okinawa and iwo jima had their children and wife evacuated to hiroshima where the atomic bomb was dropped.
