Above: Dead Iraqi people after a bomb attack

• Tuesday A suicide truck bomber has killed at least 11 people in an attack on a checkpoint north of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, police say.
• North of the Iraqi capital Baghdad a suicide bomber has killed 10 people in an attack in the city of Baquba. a local volunteer force opposed to al-Qaeda seems to be the target of the attatck. 15 other people were injured in the explosion. Sunni Muslim volunteer forces, known as Awakening Councils seem to be suffering a lot of these attackes. Not sunny enough obviously.
• A female Suicide bomber blew up a funeral killing 30 people and injuring another 40people.

The Death toll in Iraq is a mystery, America and Iraq’s own people have been bombing the country for nearly 11 years. Some reports state that upwards of 600,000 people have died so far in Iraq. These figures seem exaggerated somewhat but a figure in or around 350,000 seems to be what most sources agree on. However figures have been recently released that state only 480 have died last December which is down from 2000 two months before but it’s still a lot of dead people and ruined families.
