Musharraf calls in Scotland Yard to take down his growing opposition within the military? 1 Very Obvious Reason

SAS, New Scotland Yard

Musharraf stepped down as leader of the military on Wednesday, November 28, 2007. In a country where corruption is currency and assasination is the democratic route to loss of leadership then I think it can be agreed that these theatrics are all tools that Musharraf, Bush and Gordon Brown are going to use to bring a crack team of SAS or NAVY seals to take out people and gather intel on anyone else who is opposing their plans in the area. This has been standard practice in various places where “” ASSASINATIONS “” have happened. U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice – accused Syria of obstructing the U.N. inquiry into last year’s assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri. She threatened to send the matter back to the U.N. Security Council if Syrian interference continues. The U.S. warning came in a strongly worded written statement by the secretary of state, who said Syria must cease obstructing the Hariri probe, and that the United States intends to refer the matter back to the Security Council if the obstruction continues. This is all opinion hence the category but it’s all a bit suspect if you ask me. More on this as it happens!!

Bhutto Funeral & Assasination – 7 reasons why this happened

Thousands have gathered at the family mausoleum for the burial of recently assasinated President Bhutto. Here are a few reasons why this may have occurred :-

Bhuto Family Mausoleum

Bhutto Family Mausoleum where former Prime Minister Bhutto will be laid to rest.

  • Her father lost East Pakistan to India in the Indo-Pakistan war
  • She has been elected twice previously as Prime minister and deposed both times on charges of corruption. These charges have not been substantiated and in a country where corruption is blatant, everyone is on the take.
  • Liberal views and modern attitudes posed a threat to President Pervez Musharraf and the terrorist element (Taliban, Al Qaeda… whoever you like)
  • Military opposition to democracy because of financial fallout, if democracy became a reality. Can’t steel as much of the peoples money if they are the ones paying your sallary. Well not without making up projects anyway
  • Her opposition Nawaz Sharif and his links to Osama Bin Laden. Large sums of money have been received by Sharif from Osama bin laden. Although the same can be said for George Bush. The assasination has been claimed by an al qeaeda group apparently
  • Her attempts to reduce corruption didn’t go down well with the local powers. She provided on several occasions evidence to support this but the more you look, the more this doesn’t mean anything.
  • Hipocrisy the French, Polish, Spanish and Swiss governments have provided documentary evidence to the Pakistan government of alleged corruption by Bhutto and her husband. Bhutto and her husband faced a number of legal proceedings, including a charge of laundering money through Swiss banks. Her husband, Asif Ali Zardari, spent eight years in prison on similar corruption charges. Zardari, released from jail in 2004, has suggested that his time in prison involved torture; human rights groups have supported his claim that his rights were violated.

Essentially it was her public persona that got her killed. She appeared to be a good person but was the same as all the rest making her millions but possibly trying to improve the country also.

Lebanon leader dies, Baaba Village Explosion

Baaba, Lebanon

A 35Kg remotely detonated explosive laid waste to General Hajj in the Lebanon today, Syria are accused of planning and carrying out the attack so as to further destabilise the region. The pope himself was upset at the violent end to which Gen. Hajj was subjected condemning the murder and advising the politicians of Lebanon to unite. Syria advises that they did not do it and suggest that Israel did. This is the 9th Lebanese official to be killed in recent times, it is surely not going to motivate anyone else to stand up.

Gen Haaj. was killed just days after a meeting to elect a new President of Lebanon was postponed. However Peace talks between Israel and Palestine have just begun. These things are not officially related.

WORLD WAR I: THE RISE AND FALL

{mosimage}World War I also called the, “Great War”, began July 28th 1914. It began with a joint treaty between Austria and Hungary which declared war on Serbia. World War I became a global war which involved many nations.

It began in Europe and swiftly spread all over the world. Many countries joined the war during its first months and others joined in subsequent months or years later. On July 19th 1918 Honduras and Germany joined in the war effort. The fundamental cause of World War I was the assassination of the Archduke Francis Ferdinand, Austrian-Hungarian, the inheritor of Habsburg throne, on the 28th of June n 1914. The Austria-Hungarians opted to grab the prospect in an attempt to stamp its influence upon the Serbians. Devastating the nationalist protest movement there and reinforcing Austria-Hungary’s authority in the Balkans. An ultimatum was issued which demanded the assassins be passed with judicial integrity which was strongly disregarded by the Serbian government. Rejection of judicial integrity ultimately leads, to the start of the civil war. Serbia which had good relations with Russia called to them for aid in the squirmish. Russia came forward to assist Serbia as was expected. Austrian-Hungarian government sought the help from their supporter Germany, which enraged Russia to declare war on Austria-Hungary. It was at this time that France, Britain, Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, Union of South Africa, the United States, Japan, and Italy came forward to take a serious part in the war.{mosimage}

World War I included almost every European country and each one took an active part in this historical point in time. Germany was the most responsible for initiating World War I. Germany enraged alliances and militarism in Europe. Germany always felt they were superior to any other nations.

World War I changed the face of the world forever. What started out as a squirmish between to fractions became an event which was globally devastating. Some nations remained unaffected and unharmed by the War involvement and others were completely devastated. With millions of soldiers and civilians from all nations involved lost a lesson should have been learnt. With that in mind it is said my many that history repeats itself unless those involved learn a valuable lesson. It has also been proven that World War I educated the world about nothing because a more devastating war broke out in 1940 which was called World War II.
