Belgium on Red Alert, terrorist Christmas spree (alleged)

Belgium is on heightened alert after the detainment of 14 AL-Qaida members yesterday, The Christmas market in Brussels is under increased surveillance and security also, as well as all main public transport areas. The US Embessy in Brussels stated there is an increased chance of an attack around Christmas and Easter and Holloween, essentially any time you ask them.

14 al-Qaida gang arrested in Belgium

A plot to free a jailed Tunisian born Nizar Trabelsi Al-Qaida operative has been foiled in Belgium, The 14 armed al-qaida members were caught today in raids in Belgium.

Nizar Trabelsi was jailed for 10 years about 4 years ago, for his plotting of attacking a base were about 100 american air base military personal were stationed. All Ports and airports are on a state of alert in Belgium also were given guards today, as it is not certain that all Al-Qaida operatives were captured.
